When you think of the ideal car you’d like to own, it’s one of the first that come in mind. It has also been considered as one of the greatest Porsche models in the market and that’s because people find Porsche 911 to be the greatest luxurious car. Fortunately, this model has been upgraded and now with the new GT3 engine and every mechanical part has been revised for the sportiest among the 911.

READY FOR THE TRACK

The fifth generation of the Porsche 911 GT3 is the most specialized among the 911s.  In fact Porsche claims a lap time at the Nürburgring of less than 7 minutes and 30 seconds. It’s a car developed from scratch, with the engine, transmission, body and chassis completely renovated.

EVOLUTION OF BOXER

The Porsche 911 GT3 is powered by the 3.8 boxer adopted by the Carrera S motor engine (gear motor and specific  control valves, titanium connecting rods, forged piston ) and it delivers 475 hp, making it capable of reaching 9,000 rotations per minute. The weight/ power ratio is only 3 kg/ hp, followed by the benefits that come as a result of that: 315 km/ h top speed , acceleration from 0 to 100 km/ h in 3.5 seconds, 0 to 200 km/ h in less than 12 seconds.

ABSOLUTE DESING

Although it’s structure is made of steel and aluminum like the current 911 Carrera, the GT3 is distinguished by its wider rear track widths of 44 mm, the specific front and rear bumpers, its central exhausts and especially for the classic for the classic spoiler that’s  fixed on the rear which increases the downforce. The interior is made of leather and alcantara, with the use of contrast stitching.

STEER EVEN FURTHER

The transmission of the Porsche 911 GT3 is entrusted to the PDK dual-clutch seven-speed transmission which was also evolved to address the management logic sequential manual gearbox used in motorsport. The real novelty is the use, with active rear axle steering for the benefit of agility and driving stability. Completing the picture we have: the electronic locking rear differential, active engine mount, adjustable suspension aluminum alloy wheels and 20-inch lightweight forged wheel with central locking. Various orders have been made already, at a price of  €140.604 and the first deliveries are scheduled for August.
