With slight modifications the Laguna Grand Tour keeps being a current vehicle if you look at its exterior design and equipment. And also for its mechanical and versatility. This Renault has a length of 4.80 meters so it takes 11 centimeters longer than the sedan, a 2.0 dCi diesel mechanics that provides us with more than enough 150 horse power and finishes and consumption that make it a quite successful product.

How does this 4Control system work? If we travel at less than 60 km/h, when turning the steering wheel the rear wheels rotate in reverse to the front wheels, and if we overcome this speed they rotate in the same direction.

Through this ‘two-ways’ system we get to reduce the turning radius at low speeds and prevent rocking and oversteer in tight turns and faster speeds. All this to improve security.

Inside the Laguna you realize about the new upholstery, a flattened leather steering wheel at the bottom which gives it a sporty look (this effect is multiplied with its dual exhaust). With its redesigned grille and its new headlights, Laguna shows a dynamic temperament, with a line full of strength and character. It is a comfortable car with a big trunk, and with a very simple system through which we can fold the rear seats. This Laguna Grand Tour gives us a luggage capacity of 501 liters, expandable to 1,593.

Both the 2.0 Energy dCi 150 hp and 130 hp variant are equipped with automatic Stop&Start system and ESM energy recovery from braking. Decelerating or braking recovers energy with which we can recharge the vehicle battery without overloading the motor, which helps to reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. To ensure multiple startups, they have reinforced the boot device, the pump and battery.

This allows to homologate a combined consumption of 4.6 liters per 100km, that could be raised to a little over 5.5 liters per 100 kilometers. A very good figure for a car of this kind and size.

Veterancy in the market that may discourage more than one when choosing this Laguna Grand Tour is compensated with a policy of tight prices. From 23,800 euros we can access this family vehicle, albeit with mechanical diesel 110 hp (to enjoy the Laguna 150 V then at least 28,200 euros are needed).
