In Elixhausen, a few kilometers from Salzburg lies the historic Romantikhotel Gmachl. Hotel Gmachl is the oldest family business in Austria. It is from 1334 that 23 generations of the family Hirnböck-Gmachl work to keep the tradition and innovative features to continue to stay in tune with the needs of the guests. Among the highlights of the hotel is definitely the spa area which covers an area of 1500 m² and features an indoor pool with an open fireplace, a Finnish sauna, herbal steam bath, an infrared cabin and a relaxation area. At Gmachl there is also a separate area reserved for women with bio sauna and steam bath.

The treatments to choose from are different: there are those to revitalize and rejuvenate the skin at the base of marine collagen, aloe and there is also one with caviar, a factor that counteracts premature aging. For couples and small groups, Inntalerhof offers the Ceremony of the sauna. The seats, from 20 to 22, are reserved to the participants for two hours of relaxation with wellness specialists at their service. During the ceremony, guests relax by candlelight and sip a fruity cocktail created for the occasion.

In addition to the sauna there are several treatments from which to choose, such as the mud wrap detox of the Alps, the traditional treatment that promotes purification through the skin in combination with natural sediments and granular and has a revitalizing effect. The wrap also dissolves tension and the contraction of the joints. There is also hay bath in the Alps. The hay in this alpine region is a mixture of natural herbs and helps those who suffer from allergies. It has a relaxing effect, detox and stimulates metabolism, and is also indicated for reducing stress.
