This last car pays homage to the brand’s founder Ettore Bugatti, hence the name with which it has been baptized and will be presented on 15 August at the Concours d’Elegance in Pebble Beach (California).

A pure legend

The other five versions of the Bugatti, which also accompany the latter in the contest, are Jean-Pierre Wimile, Jean Bugatti, Meo Constantini, Rembrandt Bugatti and Black Bess, each of which honors the biggest names in the French firm which is now owned by Volkswagen.

A model that cost 2.35 million euros

The interior of Bugatti Veyron Ettore Bugatti is based on the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse model. This new car is powered by a 1,200 PS, 8-litre W16 engine with an output of 1,200 hp motor. With this impressive engine it is capable of going from zero to 100km/h in 2.6 seconds and reach a speed of 408 km/h (254 MPH) with the roof down, as they proudly explain.

The design is based on the Type 41 Royale model of 1932, when it was only possible to make six models of the 25 that were originally planned and, like this model, Veyron Ettore includes pure and natural materials like polished aluminum (the only brand using it) and cordovan leather for the interior. The tires have been specially created for this model combining a diamond tone with dark blue.

All the car’s interior is upholstered with cordovan leather in the parts that are mostly touched with the hands, from the steering wheel to the door handles and calfskin in most of the interior.

A real luxury that can only be enjoyed by three people, since that is the number of vehicles that will be manufactured, and may do so for the modest price of 2.35 million euros.
