The ultra-exclusive Bugatti Veyron Ettore Bugatti was presented at Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, along with the other five vehicles that make up this amazing series: first we have the Black Bess model, then follows the Rembrandt Bugatti, after that comes Jean-Pierre Wimille while the last ones were Meo Constantini and Jean Bugatti. This year, the world premiere of the sixth Legend of the company was held at the same location of the previous model.

The Ettore Bugatti Veyron design was modeled on Type 41 Royale, one of the finest creations of Bugatti. From the chassis (No. 41111), to the outer two-tone paint, Bugatti’s tribute to Type 41 has been a total success. Bugatti used cargalvanized aluminum for front and side panels of its mega car, including the hood, bases and mirror caps, the exterior door handles, the corners of the bumpers, fenders and doors. In fact, this is a first for the brand to do a such thing.

For the interior, two types of leather are being used for the first time too, which are combined with carbon accessories in blue and exposed a pattern, the aluminum figure  of a dancing elephant – another tribute to the Type 41 Royale. The figure, which is also present in the other 5 special editions of the Bugatti was actually sculpted by Rembrandt Bugatti, Ettore’s brother, an artist with an inclination to represent wildlife in his works.

The Ettore Bugatti has the powerful Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse as its base model, meaning that it is powered by a powerful engine W16 8l, capable of producing 1,184 horsepower and 1,500 Nm of torque. The new model can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h (62 mph) in 2.6 seconds. The Grand Sport Vitesse legend has a top speed of 408.84 km / h (254 mph) that is of course with the roof down, earning the title of the fastest production roadster in the world.

The price of the latest model of Bugatti which, like the rest of the Legends, is limited to three units is € 2.35 million (approx. $ 3.14 million).

Bugatti Veyron Super Sport

With the passage of time, the competition has become increasingly fierce and the numerous records achieved by the Veyron have been exceeded. Now, however, the men of the Franco-German House seem to have returned to the office and according to the latest rumors, would be working on a new version of the Veyron that is even more extreme, one that can beat any formidable opponent.

Compared to the Veyron 16.4 Super Sport, the new variant will use even larger fiber carbon and composite materials in order to further reduce the mass of the car for 200 kg, with the aim to keep the weight within the 1,688 kg. The decrease in the weight of the car will be accompanied by a substantial upgrading of the W16 quad-turbo engine that will increase its capacity from the current 1,200 hp, up to a higher level of 1,500 hp. The increase of the power will be obtained by intervening on the electronics management and on that of supercharging, while it seems that the addition of an electric unit will be definitively excluded, as used by other recent super sports, such as Ferrari LAFerrari , Porsche 918 Spyder and McLaren P1.

With such a power reserve, performances never seen before on a sports car approved for circular road are to be expected, which could result in a top speed of over 450 km / h, although the latter may be influenced by the technological limits of the tires. The list price of this special Veyron will be worthy of its incredible performance: as of now, a cost of approximately € 5 million is estimated, which obviously does not include the numerous and expensive customizations which can boast the opulent and exaggerated Molsheim Sports House.
