Claire-Anne O’Brien is an Irish living in London that has elevated the art of knitting to high decoration areas with her fabulous stools.
Surely you have seen them in a magazine, since they are part of the wish lists of international interior designers, and artist passed from being unknown and lining chairs with pullovers to become a worldwide knitting icon.

Some of her designs

She started with cross-stitch in school, graduating at Royal College of Art and reaching the top with her Master in Textile at the very famous Central Saint Martins in London. Claire-Anne has made from sustainable design her philosophy of life.
After graduating, she worked with Unesco in the Himalayas, designing clothes with local resources and labor, creating a sustainable income for the local population. In 2011, she moved to London where she rides her sustainable crafts company, given that her team weaves manually using natural materials.

A knitted chair

Bright colors, designs and classic patterning in XXL size, materials of the highest quality (remember that, traditionally, Great Britain is the epicenter of the best wool in the world).

She has exhibited her designs at the London Design Festival, the Milan Furniture Fair, the Wool Modern Exhibition and Spinexpo. In 2011, she was awarded with the Future Maker award, which was provided by the Crafts Council of Ireland.
