In Deluxosphere we love life in every single way so we are totally against real animal heads used as decorative elements, although we must admit that we like those ones that are made of other materials and have their shape… well, not all, but many of them! Today we have found a super fun collection called Papertrophy which has not only heads but also whole animals.

The fact is that these animals and animal heads are made of paper, but they do not come assembled, everything is pre-cut and with indicative folds, so we have to put it together by ourselves. Of course, in case you have already practiced with tables, chairs and other furniture from IKEA, you will feel completely capable of doing it. It will be a matter of patience, but it does not seem very difficult.

The collection includes deer heads, which is the most classic, but also other more original options as the head of a lion, an elephant and even a unicorn, and entire animals such as the penguin we show you in the first picture of this article, or the gorilla in the photo under these lines. The thing is that the gorilla sure needs a large living room…

Another good idea is that we can choose the color scheme we want for our animals or our animal head, or we can also choose everything to be all white to customize it later at home to our taste. That means, the options are almost limitless with so many colors and the option to finish it ourselves at home. You love the idea, don’t you?

The most unique decoration in Moooi showroom| Amsterdam

There showrooms and showrooms, and the one belonging to the design label Moooi is one of those of which you would not want to ever leave. Marcel Wanders and Casper Vissers are a magnificent pair Dutch product and interior designers who in 2001 decided to cofound Moooi, and in this shop, in addition to the designs of Marcel Wanders himself, there is room for pieces from other designers.

Was Michelangelo here?

Although they also have other two spaces in London and New York, but the Amsterdam one is by far our favorite and if you take a look at the pictures you will certainly understand why.

Only a moment in their 700 m2 exhibition and you would amaze yourself saying ‘Moooi’ (which means ‘pretty’ in Dutch, with an extra ‘e’ that stands for an extra value of beauty, to emphasize it with admiration). ‘Moooi’ often shows objects like lamps or larger than normal chairs. Each item is unique, and will leave an everlasting impression on any space.

In this artistic showroom there is a place for pieces of lighting, furniture and accessories and accessories from brands like Studio Job, Freshwest or Kiki & Joost that create little decorative environments that mix colours and patterns from which you can always find ideas to get inspired to decorate your home or office.
