The post Jal Mahal | The water palace first appeared on De Luxo Sphere.]]> Jal Mahal means water palace and was used by manufacturers because of its location in the center of the Sagar lake. Built in 1799 across from Jaipur, the capital of the Indian state of Rajasthan, as the summer residence of the royal family. Prophetic or not, Jal Mahal Palace is gradually lost in the lake and almost half of it is visible. In fact, the first four floors of the palace immersed in the lake, with the latter having stayed above the water level.

The palace was a sign of luxury design, with expensive marbles, gilded decorations and impressive interior gardens, relaxing and resting place of the kings and their families. Fountains, artificial channels and ponds were a somewhat natural habitat for a multitude of rare birds, which appeared in the palace especially during the summer months, creating an idyllic environment.

In addition, many trees, flowers and green plants, complemented images. The palace was recently restored and is now one of the most popular tourist attractions in the area, which receives many visitors.
