The “Octopus” has a length of 126 meters and was built in German shipyards. If we exclude vessels owned by Heads of State (Arab sheiks, mostly) it is the third largest in size yacht behind the “Eclipse” of Roman Abramovich and «Rising Sun» of Larry Ellison of Oracle. The “Octopus” bears two small submarines, seven tenders which the longest one has a length of 19 meters and a robotic submarine, which cleans the bottom of the ocean.

The rising sun or “Rising Sun” belongs to the owner of Oracle Larry Ellison and the tycoon media David Geffen. You realize that the aim of Rising Sun was to become longer than the “Octopus” of Paul Allen. It was measured 138 meters, that means 12 more than his opponent. Built in 2004 and 9,900 square feet contains wine cellars, a cinema, a basketball court and of course a heliport.

$ 210,000,000 – Lady Moura

The Lady Moura is a private yacht owned by Nasser Al-Rashid, a multimillionaire businessman from Saudi Arabia , who has a short coastline of sand in the yacht. The Lady Moura is a 344 feet long and is a stylish, luxury boat beautifully designed and easily recognizable by its name that is carved in 24 carat gold.

$ 350 million – Dubai

A combination of steel and aluminum is covering the impressive yacht Dubai. The delicate lines is the result of the design talent Andrew Winch. Lined with handmade mosaics,  floors made of glass that change color, rooms that the glass ceiling lets the moonlight to enter fearlessly, are just some of the facilities that His Majesty has chosen to offer. Of course, it carries a 9 metre helicopter and at least two smaller 10 meter boats. Dubai yacht, weighs 9,150 tons and its speed reaches 29 knots.

$ 353 million – Eclipse

Without competition until further notice, “Eclipse” was recently launched in the icy waters of Hamburg, from shipbuilders Blohm & Voss. While the officers of the shipbuilding company were working on the new yacht project for Abramovich, unsurprisingly, wouldn’t give out any information about “Eclipse”.
