‘Dying of love’ could be the name of this kitchen connected to the outside in a house in the UK. Designer furniture, spaciousness, domestic warmth… this kitchen lacks nothing, with its furniture in Cappuccino colour and wood in certain parts that give it a great personality.
Another thing we like is that the dining area has a special role thanks to the wooden floor on which it is situated. Thus we can see how a change in the soil material helps set the visual boundary between the kitchen and the main dining room of the house, adapting materials, ceramic and wood to the different conditions and needs of each space.
The kitchen is equipped with furniture from the brand Santos, but it differs from the rest in the colour, since the most popular tone in furniture of this firm is usually white. The kitchen is divided into two distinct areas: on the one side the plumbed and columns area and on the other side the central island with cooking area.
The plumbed area consists of several lower furniture for storing food and utensils often used in cooking. In this area are the sink, by Franke, and a fully integrated dishwasher. At the end of this furniture line are placed two column furniture housing a Siemens fridge with freezer and a Miele microwave, brand that corresponds to most electrical appliances.
The central island separates the kitchen and dining areas. There are placed the induction plate and lower ovens, also from Miele, besides spacious, functional drawers equipped with complete kitchen accessories. Replacing doors for drawers in furniture helps bring low objects closer and access them more comfortably.
The island, accessible by both sides, keeps its backside to create, thanks to the additional depth of the counter, a space where you can enjoy breakfast or snack foods, besides providing a large work surface to prepare your best cooking recipes.
As you can see the furniture front, Line model, is smooth and without handles. This is an aesthetic but also practical matter because, thanks to its system of continuous cyma, it allows the opening at any point. The straight and stylized forms, wide worktops and full equipment… Everything is thought to enjoy a space where cooking becomes a pleasure.
Clearly the island is the undeniable star of the room. The use of the storage space it provides, among other things, makes it possible to dispense with furniture in the upper area and thus ensure the maximum flow of natural light. Although with these windows it would be a crime to have created a dark kitchen.
We declare ourselves totally in love with the kitchen, both by design and the colours chosen, as logically by that adorable connection to the outside. Imagine, now in spring, to prepare a scrumptious meal in the kitchen and then to serve it in the garden for family and friends… Such luxury!
