If you were looking for a new monitor for your PC or console and cannot find any convincing model, then perhaps the Samsung new proposals might get it. The Korean manufacturer bets on curved panels and presents five new monitors.
With a common technology to all of them, the five monitors include a VA panel (Vertical Align), higher contrast and a general improvement in the image quality.
Samsung and its new monitors for 2015
The new models correspond to four series. In first place we have the SE790C series, which is the top of the line and offers a screen with 29 inch diagonal, a 2560×1080 resolution and ultra widescreen 21: 9 aspect ratio.
With the above mentioned LCD panel type VA (Vertical Align) and several input connections, the highlight is that it includes a VESA wall-mount bracket adaptor. Alright, it may seem uninteresting but one of the drawbacks that we find lately is that many models have given it up. Could be that for many of you this will not be important, but trust us, we find it positive that it is integrated in regards to its use in multi-monitor configurations for dual monitor bracket.
In a second lucky place we have the SE590C series, a 31.5 inch screen, and this time with widescreen format and 1080p resolution.
The SE591C series is practically identical except for the diagonal of its screen, which is 27 inch, and its radius of curvature passing from 3000R to 4000R.
To come to an end, the last but not least SE510C series is, so to say, the basic range. We find here diagonal screen sizes of 23.5 and 27 inch, Full HD resolution and the same radius of curvature as SE591C model, 4000R.
