Designed by Simon Legald for Normann Copenhagen, Salon is a simple and elegant piece of furniture to use throughout the home: to bring drinks and snacks from the kitchen to the living room, the dining room or the garden, or as a fruit bowl or bread roll, or simply as a piece of furniture.
The ancient elegance blends with the clean lines of the present in the series of Vienna straw trays. The Salon trays insert the Vienna straw reeds into a new context, where material quality, excellent support and clean appearance blend exquisitely into a unique design. In the Salon trays, the airiness of the wicker is combined with the consistency of the edge in painted laminate. The clean surfaces of the edge are interrupted by two symmetrical notches that mark the tray’s handle and at the same time give shape to the design.
